Strawberry Milkshake

Its time to say good bye to the nerve chilling winter and welcome the sunshine. The winter clothes have already gone back to their residential closet. My way of bringing in the season to the house is to start with super cool milkshakes and as the sun hits high, I gradually move to fresh juices.
After all sun always makes us dehydrated and everyone is thirsty always! I have already started with ice cream and granita. So here is the simple milkshake thatz tasty and so girly!!!

Ingredients:
Strawberries-7-10
Full fat milk-1 cup
Vanilla/Strawberry ice cream-1 scoop
Sugar-as needed
How It Happened:
1. Boil the milk and refrigerate it for 2 hours/until chilled.
2. Wash and hull the strawberries and chop roughly. Add the straw berries, sugar, and chilled milk to a blender and whip until they are well blended.

3. Then add a scoop of ice cream and whip once until frothy.
4. Pour in a serving glass and serve chilled.
Notes:
* For low fat version, skip ice cream, use low fat milk and use sugar-free or skip sugar.
* If you are not adding ice cream then add a little vanilla extract/strawberry essence or vanilla sugar for added flavor.
* Incase, you don’t have ice cream but you want the richness you can add 2 tablespoons of fresh cream while whipping.

* Since the milk is chilled there is no need for ice cubes. But if you want you can add a couple of cubes while blending.
